UNEY: An Exclusive Creation for Luxe Pack Monaco 2024

Born from the collaboration of three renowned players – MMB VOLUM-e, Oriol & Fontanel, and Gainerie 91 – Groupe, UNEY demonstrates the luxury sector’s ability to combine aestheticism, responsibility, and innovation.

For Luxe Pack Monaco 2024, this collective created an exceptional gift box focused on honey nectar, exclusively using natural and recycled materials. This piece invites a rethink of the packaging of tomorrow, blending elegance with environmental consciousness.

Three Crafts, One Shared Vision

Each member of UNEY brings its unique expertise, contributing to the creation of this exceptional packaging:

  • MMB VOLUM-e elevates materials by sculpting wood, shaping recycled matte aluminum, and filling the cosmetic glass bottle with bio-responsible honey harvested from its own workshops.
  • Oriol & Fontanel ties everything together with exceptional ribbons, woven from 100% eco-designed Tencel and Modal fibers, derived from wood cellulose.
  • Gainerie 91 enhances the box’s covering with a durable, biodegradable structure, featuring a honeycomb effect, adorned with golden glitter and recycled tactile paper.

MMB VOLUM-e: A Strong CSR Commitment

Recognizing the environmental challenges reshaping the luxury industry, MMB VOLUM-e is intensifying its commitment to eco-designed materials.

The choice of recycled wood for perfume and cosmetics packaging meets the demands of prestigious brands seeking authenticity and responsibility. Laser cutting and engraving create refined biomimetic designs, such as the secondary packaging made from wood for local honey production.

Furthermore, additive manufacturing (3D printing) is emerging as a sustainable solution. By eliminating the need for traditional tooling, it optimizes raw material usage, producing only what is necessary. MMB VOLUM-e also ensures the recycling of production waste (powders and resins) to minimize its environmental impact without compromising the premium quality of its creations.

Lastly, MMB VOLUM-e’s expertise in highly technical materials, such as titanium—originally used in the aerospace industry—pushes the boundaries of creativity and offers exceptional pieces that meet the demands of contemporary luxury.
